The Panasonic PT-LX271U XGA DLP Projector
provides 2700 lumens of brightness and a 7500:1 contrast ratio for clear, bright presentations - even in rooms with lots of ambient light. It features an XGA 1024 x 768 native resolution, a DLP chip system and an Eco+ AUTO lamp mode that supports a long lamp life up to 10,000 hours. The ecological design of the PT-LX271U greatly reduces any environmental impact, with power consumption a mere 0.5W in Eco Standby Mode. The PT-LX271U AUTO mode combines optimum levels of brightness and picture quality for maximum energy savings and a lower overall cost of ownership. This compact, ultra-light unit is effortless to move between locations, measuring 11-11/32" x 3-15/16"" x 9-1/16" and weighing just over five pounds.
Ease of operation and installation are facilitated by several advanced functions, including an abundance of interfaces including an HDMI input terminal, 2 sets of computer (RGB) input terminals, a wired LAN terminal, and a serial (RS-232C) terminal for external control. The wired LAN terminal allows for use of Crestron's application software, "Crestron Connected™", which can control various system devices by using a personal computer connected to the network. The projector has an audio output jack as well, which can even pass through audio when the projector is in standby mode. Other features include a built-in 8W mono speaker, a serial RS-232C terminal for external control, and for simplified maintenance, the projector incorporates top-panel lamp replacement, which means it does not have to be removed from a ceiling mount for upkeep. Lastly, the projector's ""Wall Color Setting"" mode corrects the color schemes of the projected image when projecting on non-white surfaces to prevent color irregularities.
These features support a wide range of system architectures for portable or ceiling-mounted use.
