Mitsubishi’s XD700U-G also utilizes DLP®’s 3D-Ready technology for immersive presentations. Perfect for higher education or corporate applications, images can be rendered in stunning 3D—adding a new dimension to viewing scientific, architectural, and engineering imagery. The 3D video content must be in field sequential format, a high end graphic card and special electronic shutter glasses are required.
The XD700U-G is equipped with a RJ-45 LAN terminal for remote operation and is compatible with RS232C communication protocols. Additionally, when used with Crestron® Room View®, integrated control of up to 250 projectors including power on/off control, message display and confirmation of lamp service hours is possible using RoomView™/ e-Control™. It is also equipped with AMX Device Discovery for simplified device management and compatible with PJLink™. Another added benefit is the inclusion of manual vertical lens shift, offering +7% shift up and -11% down.
The XD700U-G also features new connectivity options with USB. Users can connect the projector to the computer via: a VGA cable, USB cable, LAN cable or commercially available wireless dongle. For displaying images via a LAN, up to four computers can be connected to one projector. The projection screen can be divided into quarters, reproducing all computer screens simultaneously. Using “PtG Converter”, PowerPoint files can be converted into a special format and saved on a USB storage device. When the USB device is connected to the projector, users can replay slideshows or animation effects using only the projector.
A high-volume, 10W speaker is built-in, eliminating the need for an external speaker. It also includes dual 3.5mm audio inputs and an Audio Mix feature that can simultaneously broadcast audio from two audio sources and be configured to adjust the volume levels from its 10W built-in speaker. The instructor’s voice can now be reproduced loud and clear in real time and mixed with the audio of the video source.
