The Kramer VP-8x4 Computer Graphics Video Matrix Switcher (8x4) is a high-bandwidth (400MHz (-3dB)) switcher that routes any or all of its 8 inputs to any or all of its 4 outputs simultaneously. These inputs include computer graphics video signals, with resolutions exceeding UXGA. Equipped with a take button, the switcher can execute multiple switches simultaneously. By storing multiple switching configurations as presets, it allows quick and efficient switching.
With Delayed Switching feature, the VP-8x4 switcher offers error-free switching by delaying switching up to 3.5 sec. On detection of video input signal, each input button on the front panel automatically lights and changes its color when the signal is selected for switching. You can control the switcher via front panel, Ethernet & IR remote (included). On installing the K-Router Kramer software (included), you can control the switcher from a Windows-based PC via RS-232 and RS-485 ports. The Front Panel Control Lockout feature prevents any unauthorized tampering of switcher configurations. It has a standard 19” rack mount size, and comes with rack ears.
