With an excellent 4,200 ANSI lumens output and XGA resolution, the VPL-FX30 is a versatile choice for a wide range of applications. Able to project detailed, sharp images onto screens up to 600” (diagonal) and with a comprehensive range of adjustments to help installers, this outstanding projector can slot into almost any type of venue.
The VPL-FX30 is the latest of Sony’s projectors to incorporate BrightEra technology, Sony’s new technique to precisely align liquid crystal displays.
By massively increasing the LCD panel’s resistance to ultraviolet light, BrightEra improves reliability. At the same time, BrightEra shows its superiority over other LCD panels by allowing an increased aperture ratio, which results in a much brighter image, without the drawbacks that can affect other types of high-brightness systems.
The VPL-FX30 is a dependable tool for delivering professional presentations, every day, for years. Fully kitted-out with all the I/O you’ll need – including a network connection – it’s easy to connect and manage.
Long lifespan, low cost-of-ownership, and great image quality. The VPL-FX30 is the best reason yet to upgrade to a Sony.
This product comes with PrimeSupport – fast, hassle-free repairs and a helpline offering expert technical advice. Which gives you the peace of mind that Sony is looking after your equipment, and your business.
With the VPL-FX30’s wide zoom standard lens, it’s possible to keep the same mount position if upgrading from an older model. A centered lens makes it easy to calculate symmetric installation. Compatibility with current optional lenses (VPLL-Z1024 & VPLL-Z1032) accommodates a wide range of throw requirements.
Superior Image Quality
An outstanding Color Light Output of 4200 Lm and a high contrast ratio at 2000:1. Wider Lens Shift Range minimizes picture degradation and distance recalculating caused by using keystone correction. 12bit 3D Digital Gamma Correction reproduces gradation in greater detail. High Resolution via All Range Crisp Focus Lens with HD compatibility delivers crisp images. Film Mode technology generates high quality images through the Interlace to Progressive conversion processor. Signals of film-originated sources converted through 2-3 and 2-2 pull down process are detected, resulting in extremely accurate image reproduction.
Maintenance made EASY
When it’s time to replace the lamp, a message will appear onscreen. Lamp replacement and filter cleaning can be performed quickly, easily and at the same time, without uninstalling the projector, since both are accessible from the rear. And Sony’s dust protection system makes for an advanced long filter cleaning cycle, which means less frequent filter changes.
Replace lamps less frequently with a long lamp life of 4000/5000H! Sony’s optical engine, BrightEra with Longer Lasting Optics provides improved optical efficiency: more light is projected onto the screen at less lamp power, requiring smaller lamps – smaller lamps are less expensive, use less electricity and produce less heat.
Save energy costs! With the push of the “Eco Mode” button on projector or Remote Commander, Lamp mode saves the consumption of lamp wattage; Power Saving mode kicks in if there is no operation for 10 minutes without any signal input; Standby mode can reduce power consumption in standby.
With its white color and connector panel located on the front, creating a flat surface on top and back, the VPL-FX30 was designed to blend in visually. Fan noise is moderate.
